TEKUNI / Wire and cable processing
Peripherals and marking
A cut and strip machine runs at half capacity if the operator pays off the drum by hand and collects wires in a box. Peripherals fix that: PreFeeder dereelers feed without tension, CableCoiler coils, WireStacker stacks — and marking printers make every wire identifiable. Mecal crimp applicators are here too.

Uni-M Applicators
Uni-M – Crimp applicator platform usable on automatic and semi-automatic presses for reeled terminals (open/closed barrel) with metal or plastic carriers.
CableCoiler 1300
Fully synchronized cable coiling machine with two coiling units for round cables up to 12 mm, designed for automated cut-and-strip lines.
CableCoiler 1450
Single-tray coiling system for wires, cables or tubes up to 16 mm with adjustable coil diameters via movable pins.
CableCoiler 500
Lightweight, economical single-tray coiler for wires/cables up to 12 mm, suitable for automatic cut-and-strip machines.
Feeding, coiling, stacking
PreFeeder 1000–4850 and Komax ads/F-series dereelers take drums from 20 to 600 kg and Ø up to 35 mm. CableCoiler 500–1450 and KRI 450/850 coil finished lengths into rings; TM 66 ties them. WireStacker 1000 and 3150 and dps 375 stack processed wires by length and batch.
Marking and applicators
Inkjet (M1630 Jet, alphaJET), hot stamping (HotStamp, Komax 26), thermal transfer (TTP 4000/5000), marker sleeves (M1650 Tube), laser (UV Laser, LaserMarking) and labels (Wraptor A6500) — systems for every insulation material and every standard. Mecal Uni-M, MK, FMK, Evolution and Restyling applicators work on all benchtop and automatic presses.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a cable dereeler (prefeeder) needed?
Without a dereeler the cutting machine pulls the wire off the drum by force — length becomes inaccurate and thin wires stretch. A PreFeeder feeds the wire tension-free and synchronised with the machine, so length is exact and capacity doubles.
Which marking type suits my insulation?
PVC and standard insulations — inkjet or thermal transfer. Teflon, Tefzel, Kapton — UV laser or hot stamping. Durable identification in harsh environments — marked tubes (M1650 Tube). Tekuni tests on your wires.
